Overview

MyVitalog ("the App") is a personal health record storage app developed by Irradiated Solution Application Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). MyVitalog is built around a simple principle: your health data belongs to you, and it stays on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

    In short: MyVitalog does not have a server. We do not collect,
    transmit, sell, or have any access to the health records, photos, or personal
    details you enter into the App. Everything is stored locally on your device and,
    if you enable it, synced privately through your own iCloud account.
  

Data We Collect

The App stores the following categories of information, entered directly by you:

Family profile information: name, date of birth, gender, blood type, allergies, and current medications for each profile you create.
Health records: test category, test name, date, facility/hospital name, doctor name, result summaries, free-text notes, radiation dose values, cost and insurance refund amounts, and scheduled checkup dates.
Attachments: photos you take or select, and PDF files you import, attached to individual health records.
App preferences: your selected language, text size, and whether you have purchased the Pro version.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, usage statistics, crash logs tied to your identity, location data, or any information about you beyond what you choose to type or attach inside the App.

Where Your Data Lives

MyVitalog uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store all information directly on your device's local storage. The App has no backend server operated by us, and we cannot access, view, or recover your data remotely.

If you have iCloud enabled on your device and granted the App permission to use it, your data may be backed up and synced across your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us — we do not operate or have access to this storage layer.

Deleting the App deletes your data. If iCloud backup is not enabled, uninstalling MyVitalog will permanently erase all stored profiles, records, and attachments from your device. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud or periodically exporting PDF reports for records you want to preserve.

Camera & Photo Access

MyVitalog requests camera and photo library access solely so you can attach photos of test results, scanned documents, or printed reports to a health record.

Photos you capture are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework to extract text (OCR), so you can optionally copy recognized text into a record's result summary.
This text recognition happens entirely on your device. No image or extracted text is sent to us or to any third party.
You may crop a photo before it is scanned, and you can discard the OCR suggestion at any time.

Notifications

If you set a "next checkup" date on a record, MyVitalog schedules a local notification on your device to remind you. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely by iOS on your device; no checkup data is transmitted anywhere to make this happen.

MyVitalog lets you generate a PDF report of an individual health record and share it using Apple's standard share sheet (for example, to send it to a doctor, save it to Files, or print it). This sharing action is initiated by you each time, and the destination is entirely your choice — we have no visibility into what you share or with whom.

Children's Privacy

MyVitalog is designed to help manage health records for an entire family, including children, when added as profiles by a parent or guardian. The App does not knowingly collect any data about children independently of the adult managing the account, and because all data stays on-device, no child data is ever transmitted to us.

Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on a server — you have complete, direct control at all times.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
