Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the CarLoanMateAU application operated by Irradiated Solution ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CarLoanMateAU, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
CarLoanMateAU is a financial calculator application that provides estimates for car finance options including Cash Purchase, Car Loan, and Novated Lease arrangements. The App is available in two tiers:
- Free: Basic cash and loan comparison with advertisement support
- Premium ($2.99 one-time): Full feature access including tax comparison engine, novated lease breakdown, and ad-free experience
3. Financial Disclaimer
You should always:
- Consult a qualified financial adviser before making any financial decisions
- Verify tax figures with a registered tax agent or the ATO/IRD directly
- Obtain formal quotes from lenders and novated lease providers
- Not rely solely on this App for financial planning
4. In-App Purchases
CarLoanMateAU offers a one-time Premium unlock purchase at $2.99 AUD (or equivalent local currency). This is a non-consumable purchase processed through Apple's App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
- The purchase is non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- You may restore your purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple ID
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice
5. Advertisements
The free version of CarLoanMateAU displays advertisements via Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of advertisements. Premium users are not shown advertisements.
6. Intellectual Property
CarLoanMateAU and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Irradiated Solution and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Irradiated Solution shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, including any financial decisions made based on the App's calculations.
8. Accuracy of Information
Tax brackets and financial parameters within the App are based on publicly available information and are updated periodically. However, we make no warranty that the information is current, complete, or accurate. Tax laws change frequently — always verify with official government sources.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
