Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the MyTaxMateAU application. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyTaxMateAU ("the App"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

MyTaxMateAU is an Australian income tax estimation tool designed to help users estimate their tax refund or liability based on information they provide. The App is intended for informational and preparation purposes only.

3. Not Tax Advice

The App provides estimates based on publicly available Australian Taxation Office (ATO) tax rates and thresholds for the selected financial year. These estimates:

• Are not a substitute for professional tax advice
• May not account for all individual circumstances
• Should not be used as the sole basis for lodging a tax return
• Do not constitute a tax assessment or formal determination by the ATO

4. Accuracy of Information

While Irradiated Solution Application makes every effort to ensure tax rates and thresholds are current and accurate, we do not warrant that the information provided by the App is complete, accurate, or up to date. Tax laws change regularly and the App may not always reflect the most recent legislative changes.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of information you enter into the App
• Verifying any calculations or estimates produced by the App
• Decisions made based on information provided by the App
• Ensuring your tax return is lodged correctly and on time with the ATO

6. In-App Purchases

MyTaxMateAU offers a one-time Pro upgrade ("MyTaxMateAU Pro") that unlocks additional features. All purchases are:

• Processed by Apple via the App Store
• Subject to Apple's standard refund policy
• Non-transferable between Apple IDs
• Restorable on the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchase" function

Irradiated Solution Application reserves the right to modify or discontinue Pro features with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in MyTaxMateAU are the property of Irradiated Solution Application and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Irradiated Solution Application shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Errors or inaccuracies in tax calculations
• Reliance on App estimates for tax lodgement
• Loss of data stored in the App
• Tax penalties, interest, or assessments issued by the ATO

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
